Since my last post wasn’t exactly a cheerful dog story, I thought I would share some happy dog moments. This last weekend I took my dog Bo to the Call of the Wild dog camp. Almost 60 dogs participated in this weekend devoted completely to the dogs. We started our days with a meadow hike where the dogs were free to run and bark and even take a swim in the river. The days were filled with sessions on catching Frisbees, participating in an agility course in the woods, a treasure hunt, and even doggie massage which Bo really needed by the end of the three days. After all he is a senior and not accustomed to that much activity. However, I don’t think I have ever seen him happier. He slept the entire 4 hour drive home. I just smiled the entire way.

It really was a great 3 days. I am very lucky to be able to take my babies on trips like this surrounded by animal lovers.

Wow! Looks like dog-heaven-on-earth! How happy pups are to run free and be with others smelling, playing, weeing and doing all those other wonderful canine pleasures! You’re a great dog guardian! I know your reward is returned to you 100 fold!

Thank you! I try to make sure my pups have a little excitement in life. And you are right, I am rewarded so so much more than what I am able to give to them
